I have been working at Fenergo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Growing fast so every day is fast paced and different.
Transparency - there are company updates every quarter (which turn into a great night!) and the management tell us everything about business performance, the product, and the next plans.
Cool people -Everyone is genuinely nice, passionate, and hard working.
The CEO cares a LOT about the teams and likes to be involved in smaller details too - he's pretty down to earth in my experience!
Opportunities to grow within the company - which is great for seeing a future here.
Referrals & bonuses - really encouraged to recommend people for positions here and rewarded well for it

    Cons

Same with any company, when there's deadlines, things can get stressful. I don't think that it's specific to Fenergo.
As we are now in two offices a few minutes away from eachother, it can be a while between seeing people in the other office

    Advice to Management

    Standing desks please

I have been working at Fenergo full-time

    Pros

I read some of the reviews and think I must be on a different stratosphere. Fenergo has grown rapidly with each employee delivering quality and developing Fenergo culture. All I have to do is deliver on my part. Too many pros to mention.

    Cons

I have to click a mouse. 🐁 Thank God it's not alive.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up. Hard work is paying off.

    I worked at Fenergo full-time

    Pros

    None.

    Absolutely none.

They attract you with money but that's all.

    Cons

They thought that they were ready for change but they were NOT.
When I opened up about an issue with the Product Owner to HR, I was not listened to. Instead, I was fired within a week. They preferred believing the Product Owner who was there longer. At that time, I didn't sue them because it would cost me too much money. + I wanted to leave anyway since I couldn't change anything in their product. However, they were actually in breach. HR should have given me some warnings first before laying me off right away.

Definitely far from a flat structure like most of software companies out there.

No flexibility. No possibility to work from home except for some of the staff. So, not everyone was treated the same.

Bad environment for designing. Too many meetings for nothing. Too much management.

    Advice to Management

Train your HR staff to listen to both sides of the story instead of just nodding to senior management.

Make sure that management doesn't always employ their friends from previous companies. This can create a biased view of the work and be difficult to change.

I have been working at Fenergo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Infrastructure is good, everything is new and you get whatever you need to work.

    Cons

Every day is like a funeral inside the office
Higher management makes you feel bad and stupid all the time
Second level management thinks they know everything and take all final decisions even if you prove them wrong.
Except on events, there's no laugh, no fun, no joy in your day to day work.
People are like robots and there is no recognition of achievements

    Advice to Management

Get rid of old employees that are not up to date with the market best practices, and just want to avoid work, they are only making good professionals leave and the only ones staying longer are the ones that think like them.

I have been working at Fenergo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Fenergo is a really dynamic place to work with a very international feel to it. the business is ramping at the moment and the teams are expanding each week. There is a good focus on staff engagement and since I joined 4 months ago there have been lots of opportunities to socialise with colleagues at lunches and gathering both in the office and at outside events.

    Cons

The cons are good problems to have - keeping up with all the new people joining, getting up to speed with the requirements of the role and managing the life balance!

    Advice to Management

    Keep the momentum going!

    Pros

Very friendly atmosphere, people are great and always willing to help. Managers encourage career development and it's quite easy to change roles and opportunities to go abroad if interested. The company really seems to be going places

    Cons

Salary may not be as good as similar positions in some other companies

I have been working at Fenergo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A young, friendly and welcoming environment from Day 1. Work-life balance is a big focus of senior management, and there is encouragement to take part in training, team building and a multitude of social events (if you're so inclined!). Flexitime hours are a god-send.

Due to the massive growth of the company, Fenergo has worked hard to develop a stellar induction and training programme for new staff. If new starters have any questions, anyone and everyone is happy to lend a hand or take the time to talk you through a concept.

An open door policy is evident throughout the company and the CEO is very open about the goals and development of the company.

    Would highly recommend.

    Cons

The new HQ is brilliant and well designed, but is currently in the middle of a huge building development area - this a temporary issue however and I expect in 12-18 months, the surrounding area will be a great base to work from.
