Great Culture, leadership and company Vision.
VHI scheme is decent - Can avail of different plans to suit you. Dental is not included. There is a sports & social club
Has a lot of the usual perks. Annual leave days could be better
Work from home Flexibility
Proper benefits overall. They are supporting wfh and provides you with the related, necessary equipment to do your job properly. There is educational assistance as well to promote professional development.
Work from home policy is very good
Very flexible and accommodating with respect to working from home.
Benefits are Industry Standard The GOOD - Pluralsight is provided at the employee's request depending on the role but can be removed if not used. - Vacation is 23 days with mandatory 3 days at Christmas (after 3 years increase to 24, after 5 increases to 25 after 7 increases to 26) - Fruit, tea, and coffee in the office but the coffee is rather poor quality. - Pizza once a month - In-office lunch once a month - Non-covid time WFH once a week and it is normal practice that people use it - Normal health insurance if you sign up for it - Normal Pension plan if you sign up for it - Life Assurance - Income Protection - Casual dress code The BAD - Bonus is not guaranteed and can be canceled even with good performance and company doing well (Happened during covid canceled all increases and bonuses). - They have some employee social events but only for those that pay into it each month. - Office training(Fenergo University) is rather useless and won't be any benefit outside Fenergo. - Haven't heard of many people doing certificates - Coffee has a burnt flavor. - Overtime is not paid and you only get an hour for an hour time in lieu if its a weekend not if you have to do it mid-week (Overtime can be common not the exception which is why this can be especially bad and with contractors getting paid at an overtime rate it looks like you are letting the team down for prioritizing your own wellbeing ) - Vacation is difficult to take, requires 6 weeks notice, and is not guaranteed to be approved also requires three approvals (Project manager, Team Lead, and finally your Manager). This is a reason why time in lieu is not great.
