Pros
They pay you for doing nothing often. The environment is good in general. It is not a fast pace environment, you can take your time to accomplish your daily task.
Cons
There is no chance to build your career. There is no possibility to change role within the company. A Few roles are being opened and they are always the same and for the same people. No meritocracy, all is based on your ability to create the right network with the right people. In addition, there is no collaboration or any type of opening between the different departments, no projects that could help employees to upskill themselves and move out from their comfort zone. Decisions made from the management are often questionable.
