Pros
From day one, I felt genuinely welcomed by all of my coworkers. The Uber family is one you definitely want to be a part of, and I could not be happier here. Everyone here works their tails off, they're motivated to succeed, having bought into the idea of Uber as a whole. Best of all, the team is here to help -- whether it be on a rider or driver initiative, an issue running data analysis, creating rider and driver communications, and so on. Working on a remote team has been an incredible experience and given me the opportunity to hone in on my entrepreneurial spirit while improving the cities we run. It's a rewarding career/company and one I hope to be a part of for years to come.
Cons
If working longer hours is not of interest to you, this might not be the best option. Also, there is an emphasis on autonomy here, which is not for everyone.
