Pros

Open door to management policy, other employees at my store were great, management was not bad, you get to pet dogs off and on all day!

Cons

Only part time positions available even for pet trainers, when you're not training usually you're on the register which makes it hard to sell the training classes that you have to sell to get commission. Management is supposed to be the ones selling the beginner/puppy classes, but they don't so much.

helping pets and their parents, working with motivated and positive people, and the work environment was great!

Cons

they could only offer part time hours

Pros

If you have experience they can pay very well considering the size of the company. Depending on which store you are in, they can be pretty good at fostering a good environment and culture.

Cons

Company is primarily focused on sales and not customer experience. So expect a lot of metrics and hounding customers. Company is trying to be technologically forward but continues to neglect to invest in the technology. So there’s updates every week crashes every week with no communication around it.
