Pros
Working for Paycom is extremely rewarding. I came from a call center environment where I was treated as a number, this could not be more opposite at Paycom. It is a small office enviroment where you are able to get one on one attention with your manager in order to thrive in your territory. The training process is extensive and difficult, but gives you the tools to succeed. At the end of the 4 week training, you go to Corporate Headquarters in Oklahoma City and meet top executives in the company such as the CEO and CFO. In a company that is expotentially growing and is publicly traded, this is a real rarity and really special. Being able to meet the leaders of the organization I work for was incredible. It is very cool to interact with the individuals who built the company and discuss their journey with them. The benefits are fantastic as they offer extremely affordable healthcare for $1!! At Paycom, I feel like I am truly valued and heard. It's an amazing organization to be a part of and I could not be happier to be employed with a company that truly values me as an employee and does not just count me as a number. I feel that the people in the organization truly want to see me succeed and want to help me succeed.
Cons
I would not necessarily say that there are any true downsides to the job. A lot of reviews discuss the work/life balance. This is true to a degree, it does require hard work and sometimes that means long hours, but the compensation and the rewards associated with giving the job your all far outweigh any negatives of having to work your absolute hardest. The job challenges you in the best way and it is incredible to see your hard work pay off.
