Since starting work at Next in August 2024, I have enjoyed every shift I have taken, leaving at the end of the day feeling super positive! The team at Next are fantastic, always supportive and love to chat. It creates an amazing community and I have made some lovely friends through my work there. The managers at my Next branch work so hard to make sure that everyone is happy on their shift, and are so lovely to be around! As a student, I feel fully understood and supported when requesting time off for holidays or if I need to take a shift off when my workload at University is piling up. The ‘offer shift’ idea is great to have, as even when you have used all your holiday allowance, you can still request shifts off, and can pick up shifts from others, so you can tailor your shifts to you! As I am studying fashion, my managers in my branch have provided me with extra optional work experience opportunities to gain more knowledge about the shop floor, such as in Visual Merchandising and Best Sellers. I would recommend Next to everyone, a fantastic employer! -great salary -super flexible working hours -holiday pay -fantastic community -great events such as Christmas Party
