Pros

1. Hybrid flexiblity worklife, but this is highly dependant on the working style and laziness of your managers (Can be a very good or bad thing). 2. Good compensation especially for fresh graduates. Considering that you get promoted annually, the salary jump is definitely worth the hardwork especially after graduating. 3. Sponsorship on work visa for foreigners 4. Good claims on accounting membership and professional membership courses 5. Good exposure to different clients (Background, countries, languages and etc)

Cons

1. You may meet really crazy bosses who play politics like mad dogs. Be prepared mentally. 95% of the people cannot take it down the road and will decide to leave and this explains a lot about the culture in these Big 4 firms. 2. Salary compensations are poor if divided by long working hours. Paying like peanuts, but expect staffs to work until 3-4am everynights. 3. Not much activitites and department interactions. Only once in a while. All staffs are expected to come in to work and pack your bags and go home continue to work. 4. If you meet managers/senior managers who are here to pass time, you are doomed. These are the toxic people who play politics to the max and the only way to solve this is to leave the firm ASAP!

Pros

It might sound cliche but the Pro for me is the people that I work with. I'm lucky enough to be staffed in a team with great leadership. Managers are actually willing to coach junior members and be a real mentor. I very much appreciate their efforts.

Cons

Long hours and office politics. This is pretty basic and obvious for any public accounting firms. Every time a quarter end, year end, or a special filing is going out, you can expect 10-14 hour days. It might be fine in your early career but it gets really tiring after a few years.
