Pros

Large company means that clients are large as well - you get access to some of Australia's biggest companies across every industry. As a result you can get some really good experiences (depending on connections in the firm and luck). Also, despite itself, the firm still attracts some very good talent, and you can learn a lot from these people if you are lucky enough to work with them. Average age is quite young, so if you are looking for something more social, it's a great place to be. Again, despite itself, it does open doors for you down the line as well.

Cons

You are a tiny cog in a machine. You are replaceable. The company is fundamentally set up to benefit its partners first and foremost. No one except partners and senior Directors earn the real money. In a good year, the partner profit share is egregious; in a bad year, like in 2020, everyone's pay gets cut. Depending on your team's senior leadership, you can be put on bodyshop projects that go on for multiple years.

Pros

Good learning environment, the teams help support your development when you're new, and they take you under their wing to succeed in your role.

Cons

It is a grind, work-life balance can become nonexistent, and it can be draining.

Pros

Good Benefits - Get the week of the fourth of July and the week of Christmas off every year.

Cons

They say we are doing well but everyone is stagnant. No real opportunities to get promoted or raises. Gone through 3 layoffs. Management says that no one is leaving because they love working there but no one is leaving because the market is bad. That is the reason for a backlog of folks trying to move up.
