Pros
- sales folk can make a LOT of money with hard work - even if you start out on a tiny market, talented people move up quickly - the people are amazing...genuine, kind and funny - strong sense of camaraderie and pride in the product - crazy stuff happens in the office (elaborate company-wide pranks, etc.) - no set PTO policy means you can take as much vacation as you need/want as long as you keep your stuff together
Cons
- tremendous amount of pressure on salespeople - your attention is pulled in umpteen directions by various initiatives - long hours (not required, but hard to avoid as a function of how much you have to do and the nature of the product)
