Pros
Hardware discount - you get 17% off on Dell computers and other accessories and even on some TV sets. $10 MS Office. You get a paycheck andt to work in computers.
Cons
Top level management considers us as more interchangeable and replaceable than the computers at our desks. Training is a joke. Benefits stink. Your fellow co-workers tend to be native Hindi speakers. Most are real good eggs but it's hard to follow them in meetings, etc. Their understanding of American English is often poor. I know the computer hardware industry is in tough shape but they kill their consulting group to prop up their hardware business when our profitability is WAY higher - DUMB!
