Pros
1. You get to work with some really smart people and learn a lot from each other. 2. You are exposed to many nteresting large scale Projects. 3. You get to work in a very challenging environment which will truly test your consulting skills.
Cons
1. They pay very little attention to individual career objectives; their main concern is to make people chargeable. 2. They can make it extremely difficult to roll off a project to pursue other projects within the firm. 3. Promotions are largely based on how well you can form a relationship with senior management as opposed to actual "performance". Very poor expectation management when it comes to promotions and salary.
