Pros

Fast paced, tight knit staff, rewarding, creative, fun, pay is great. I love working here and it’s a great opportunity for anyone looking for store management experience. You learn a lot and meet many amazing people. Company culture is more positive than other retailers although still more negative than I’d like. I feel like they do at least appreciate and reward hard work here moreso than my previous company. Not a ton of room for creativity due to specific store standards but it’s still fun to build displays and merchandise product, that’s one of my favorite parts of the job. If you can build a good team around you the work/life balance improves over time.

Cons

Hard on your body, work can be exhausting at times, poor work life balance, ridiculous corporate ideas showered upon you occasionally which can lead to frustration and stress. Try not to let it effect me too much, keep a positive attitude and try your best to hit your goals and I feel if you are sincere and making an effort they are willing to encourage and guide you. Any store management job will be stressful I would like to think this is one of the better ones out there.
