Pros
Depending on what business unit, the company could be a great place to grow. If you're considered to have potential, you're groomed for success. Enjoyed most of the company activities. I did appreciate upper level manager, not only listened, but progressively worked on changes.
Cons
Training was sub par. After completing 20 wks of training, I started my role not knowing what to do. The training covered some of the job in bits and pieces so you never saw the full scope. When it was time to do the work, you didn't know where to start because training never showed job from start to finish. Management didn't even know how to do the job and often gave the run around when looking for answers. When I was hired, I was impressed with the number of people who'd been there 10 plus years.... thenI found out they hated their job but had become complacent and afraid of looking for something new. Definitely didn't want to find myself in that position. Pay was low compared to competition and turnover was high. I didn't like that I could ask 5 different people the same question about a process and get 6 different answers! No work life balance.
