The shift to enforcing a three-day office requirement has caused friction, particularly for staff hired on remote contracts. Losing experienced people over a change in working arrangements, rather than performance, is a concern worth addressing. There has been a broad assumption at a senior level that AI would absorb junior responsibilities, but this has proven far more complex in practice. The result is that mid-level staff are routinely picking up junior work, which stalls their development.

Constantly taking benefits away, billable hours are intense, quiet layoffs, and heavily forcing AI on us

Culture of burn out, promotions on pause, very showy / cliquey culture, highly stressed staff, unrealistic expectations, low salaries. Sterile, corporate environment that places productivity and profit not only above but at the expense of its people. Unless you enjoy being a showman - avoid at all costs! Otherwise you will count down every minute until it’s socially acceptable to hand in your notice and if you’re like me - it’s you’ll be put off agencies forever.

Sometimes ethics and business aren't 100% aligned.

Would give it 0 if I could. Bad pay, bad work-life balance, bad management. Very political and certain teams hate each other; lot’s of drama but people are good at sweeping it under the rug. And in terms of leadership - well, let’s just say you should be prepared for your manager to dial you for 2 mins just to scream at you and no part of thats “screaming” was constructive and necessary. Pretty much a sinking ship at this point - insanely short staffed, some accounts are kept afloat by 1 sole employee. Pro-AI, which explains the former.
