I worked at Apple full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work from home - can be very comforting to work in your own home office and not have the pressures or dress code. They supply all the equipment and reimburse internet bills
Health insurance, dental care, vision care
Employee discounts and friends & family discounts
Store credit issued every 3 years
    Down to earth managers
Time allotted every week for self training
Easy job - 3 weeks of classroom training and another 2 weeks of easing into the role. After a month it's easy to settle in and if not, the help is always there from managers or senior advisors who are very approachable

    Cons

Working from home is also a con as well - the novelty can wear off after some time and it's not for everybody as it can get very lonely and isolating after a while. Especially if your struggling
Work is very metrics based, too focused on stats and numbers
Peer feedback system which people use and abuse to badmouth you to your manager simply if they didn't like you (although this will be taken into account by the manager whether to send the feedback to you or disregard it)
    Work is repetitive, mostly calls
Can be very hard to book time off or get the shift you want. This is based on a bidding process which to be fair is a good motivator but even if you're doing great you can never get weekends off
Career opportunities if you don't work in cork are limited. You can progress up the management line but if you don't want to work in tech or in any customer facing role the opportunities simply aren't there

    Advice to Management

Try to be more inclusive of work from home advisors, the job can be very isolating and makes it more difficult when you've no one around you. A simple catch up every now and then outside of scheduled meetings to see how we're doing personally and mentally can do the world of good for feeling like we're supported and motivated.

    Reimbursed for gym memberships
    Big effort for employee enrichment

    Advice to Management

I worked at Apple full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits, 27% discount on Apple products

    Cons

Soul destroying. Was great at the start and even first and second year. Ended up being Tier 2. So if someone rang Apple and was upset or it was too technical for Tier 1 they would pass them to us. I didn’t want to get out of bed for most days. In another job now which is much less pay but I would never go back, money isn’t everything.

    Advice to Management

Listen to you your team leads. They take the blunt of everything and they don’t deserve it. And one other word. MORALE. I was the last person to leave after original training group, nobody had any interest at the end.
