I have been working at Apple full-time

    Pros

Good salary and benefits. You earn great soft skills and troubleshooting strategy you can use everywhere.

    Cons

Really stressful and understaffed department. Started as a specialists department where it was specific for ProApps (Logic Pro X, Final Cut Pro X, Compressor, Motion, MainStage), but in a couple of years it became a generic call centre. A lot of pressure under work while you are on a call and there are queues. Most of the good advisors left the department in all lines soon after the management decided to change the call routing from professional clients to consumer. Many of the people that applied from lower departments (T1) to Business and Education found themselves in the same position with the same calls. Shifts are almost all with separate days off so it is impossible to rest yourself. It is a really busy call centre where you get a lot of misrouted calls and you are evaluated on them as well. You finish all the shifts depleted and the management do not support advisors at all. It is good if you work 1 year and then change. If you work from home, you'll never find opportunities to change or move your career forward.
