Pros

1. The work environment with colleagues is genuinely great, people are supportive and collaborate well. 2. You get to learn a lot quickly due to the variety of projects and responsibilities. 3. Teams generally help each other and maintain a positive daily atmosphere. 4. Compensation tends to align with seniority, which keeps things relatively consistent.

Cons

1. Upper management often creates a toxic and high-pressure atmosphere, with expectations that are not always based on realistic planning or actual project needs. 2. There is no structured performance evaluation process. No annual or bi-annual reviews, no clear goals, and no documented growth paths. 3. Feedback is given irregularly and usually not through any formal framework. 4. During project peaks, pressure increases significantly without proportional support or proper planning

Advantage Financial Systems Experts Response

Hello, Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for being a part of Advantage FSE for the past years. It’s encouraging to hear your appreciation for the strong collaboration among team members and the willingness of talented colleagues to support one another. That said, we’d like to address some of the concerns you’ve raised. Regarding the comment about the company’s organization and its impact on training and personal development, we believe this may not reflect the full picture. In 2024 alone, we had 41 employees participating in conferences, 6 certifications obtained, and 28 online courses attended. We are committed to supporting our employees' growth through continuous learning opportunities and will continue investing in professional development. As for outdated technologies, we understand that technology evolves rapidly. However, supporting large banking corporations, as we do, often requires the use of reliable and proven technologies rather than constantly adopting the latest versions or trends. These choices ensure the stability and robustness of our solutions, and they are clearly communicated both during the hiring process and throughout employment. On the topic of career development and evaluations, we’re excited to share that our Career Development Framework (CDF) has undergone significant improvements and will be relaunched in 2025. This renewed framework is designed to provide clear career paths, structured evaluations, and ongoing coaching to help employees align their goals with the company’s mission. Regarding annual salary reviews, these are conducted regularly, as explained during onboarding. However, it’s worth noting that a review does not always guarantee an increase—it depends on individual progression and contributions to our projects. Lastly, we’d like to highlight the hybrid working model you mentioned as a benefit. This remains one of the most flexible offerings in the market, reflecting our commitment to work-life balance, even during peak periods. We appreciate your contributions over the years and are committed to continuously improving. If you’d like to discuss your concerns further or share additional suggestions, I would be happy to have a conversation. Your feedback is invaluable in shaping a better workplace for everyone. Best regards, Peggy Theodorou People and Culture Director
