Life at Workday, Dublin.
A look inside Workday's state-of-the-art European headquarters in Dublin.
In summer 2015 we moved into a newly refurbished office located in the historical landmark quarter of Smithfield.
Technology on a massive scale: our state-of-the art technology in our Dublin site allows us to focus on development which is central to the Workday service as a whole. Our people make a genuine impact.
One of our core values is fun. We like to make sure we have plenty of options available for when you need some downtime. Our site features ping pong, pool, gaming, board games, break-out areas, yoga rooms and various social clubs and activities for you to enjoy.
We also provide a range of yummy snacks and refreshments to empower your day and fuel your energy.
Our top floor is called 'Spéir' which means 'sky' in Irish. Named by our own people, this stunning location features 360-degree, panoramic, views of Dublin; especially scenic when viewed from our new rooftop garden.

I have been working at Workday full-time (More than 3 years)
They offer competitive salary albeit a little skewed towards RSU's.. great snack program and employee benefits - great team to work with.
Management seem either hesitant to change certain practices or too afraid to. Some areas do not listen to their staff concerns- I.E. several staff members said they would not go back to being managed by one certain person and upper management ignored their feedback and all 4 left as a result leaving a massive knowledge gap. Because they are growing the opportunities you want may not be forthcoming to grow your career.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (Dublin, Co. Dublin).
Three parts to the interview process. First was a phone screening followed by a technical UML assessment on Skype with two developers. The final part was a three round on-site interview. All interviewers were extremely helpful and made you feel relaxed. One of the interviews however I felt like some of the questions I was asked were a bit more than someone of my level were capable of answering. Overall a very good experience even though I did not get offered a position.
