Albany Supplies is looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and customer-focused Customer Service / Admin Assistant to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, supporting customers, helping with day-to-day administration, and contributing to the smooth running of our customer service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer customer queries by phone, email, and online channels in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide helpful and accurate information about Albany Supplies’ products and services.
- Process customer orders, account updates, new customer signups, and general service requests.
- Support customers with order queries, delivery updates, product availability, and basic after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems as required.
- Assist with general administration duties, including data entry, filing, document preparation, and inbox management.
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer queries efficiently.
- Follow up with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Support the sales team with customer information, product details, quotations, and general administrative tasks.
- Help maintain a high standard of customer service across all interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service, administration, or office support role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident dealing with customers by phone and email.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with CRM or ticketing systems such as HubSpot would be an advantage.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy office environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
