My initial interactions with USAA representatives were at a career fair on campus. It worked to my advantage seeing them three times over the span of two weeks since one of the recruiters was the same at every event.
Their process was similar to most companies, I applied through both the online career service portal for my campus and through the USAA website.
After submitting that they called me to set up an on campus interview. Setting things up was a little last minute but everything worked out fine. This interview was one on one, extremely laid back and fairly fun in terms of interviews. There were several behavioral questions and then three questions on paper, one regarding logic, another creativity and the third problem solving (if I remember correctly).
About two to two and a half weeks later I got an email about coming to HQ in San Antonio for final round interviews. USAA put all final candidates in the Omni La Mansion del Rio and took us out to dinner to answer questions about the next day and USAA in general. The next day we got up early and took a bus out to HQ. In the morning we had breakfast, talked about benefits and other administrative topics. Then came my one hour final interview. This interview was structured the same as the one on campus interview but with different questions and it was a two on one format. One interviewer was a manager and the other was a team member. After the interview we had lunch, got a tour of the building and wrapped up our day.
A week and a half later they called extending an offer to work full time.
