Can include some variation of 4 parts: phone call, Excel test, SIG panel, and case study. The phone call is for basic fit and vetting and is typically very short. The Excel test will cover skills like V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, and other basic functions like SUM and AVG. The SIG panel will be with two interviewers who will be grading your answer on a STAR scale, so preparation with Situation-Task-Action-Result stories is key. In the case study, there isn't one right answer - you'll be given a list of vendors or metrics and asked to offer some recommendations. What they're looking for is to see if you can engage with the material and think critically about the customer experience. Think about internal factors like price, inventory, competitor products/brands, promotions, etc. and external factors like weather, competitor stores, and market forces. With the case study, the most important thing to do is to make sure that you're talking through your reasoning and thought process because they want to understand how you think.
