I worked at The Home Depot part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fairly easy job around people that are normally easy to get along with.

    Cons

Home Depot expects you to learn a great amount from the boring training videos that you spend your first couple weeks watching. The videos are mostly time consuming and as an employee you do not get much out of them unless you can relate them to your own knowledge and skills on a particular subject.

    Advice to Management

Be more open to associates point of view and ideas. The reason the work can grow stagnant is because the upper management get complacent because they are not furthering their careers.
