Applied online, days later I received a call from the HD call center. During the call, the lady explained I was about to be asked a series of questions to see if I qualify to set up an interview for. The questions were mostly about retail and customer service. I do know Spanish, therefore she asked me to translate: how would I ask a customer if she/he needs help. I translated and right after that, she said she had submitted my questions and they'll get back in touch with me if I make it to the next level.
I remember the lady being nice and very professional.
Then came the person to person interview. Again, retail questions and the co-manager would write my answers down. It's a longgg list. So prepare to be there for a minute. Don't be intimidated though, even if you haven't done retail, just express how you'd like to be treated as a customer. (Oh!!! One thing though!!! I recall applying for Cashier position, however, when the manager saw me, he offered me the Garden position, because I was bilingual! So he had to get a different folder to ask me questions from.)
