I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Indianapolis, IN) in Sept 2019
Interview
Communication was super easy. The recruiter was interested in helping me be as prepared as possible for my interview. I prepared extensively online through Trailhead and I studied about the company and it’s culture. I had two interviews. The first I would call a culture fit interview - it lasted about 30 minutes. The second was an interview with the team I am working with this summer. I interviewed with three people (all BBI) for 30 minutes each.
Very relaxed asked about my experience. Asked about why I wanted the role, what Salesforce does. Asked about extra curricular. Woman who interviewed me was very nice and genuine. I then had a second round which was similar.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Cambridge, MA) in Oct 2019
Interview
I visited their booth at a University career fair, and ultimately applied online for my desired internship positions. About 1 month later, they reached out for interviews. For the software engineering position, I completed a coding challenge for the first round interview. For the data science position, I had a 45 minute behavioral interview with a Data Scientist on the team I would be working for. He also asked a few technical questions. I got a second round interview with the data science position, which was a 1 hour live coding interview with two Data Scientists from the team. They reached out to me after about 1 week of the final interview.
