I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2016
Interview
There was a phone interview, then an in-person interview. The phone interview took about an hour, the in-person interview took about 45 minutes. They ask pretty standard interview questions. What's strange is that the Salesforce employees I spoke with outside the interview process told me to focus on being a culture fit & to get to know their marketing speak.
The RVP I interviewed with was super-focused on metrics and meeting quota. He didn't seem engaged in the interview process, though it could have been because I interviewed on a Friday afternoon.
I encourage you to interview in the morning. Know your sales metrics backwards and forwards before interviewing.
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

Apply via Workday, initial recruiter screening via phone call, 1:1 manager interview and introduction, then panel presentation with role play. You'll need to build and present a deck in the final stages.

Question 1
Walk me through a deal example and how you won the opportunity.
pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
