I applied through university. I interviewed at Ralph Lauren (Denton, TX) in Sept 2017
Interview
just like a basic interview. You see, confident and have retail experience then you should be good. You have to take a test thing on proper sales associate requirements. It took about 20-30 minutes to answering questions like "what is the best way to handle an upset customer?", "Is being intoxicated at work alright?", "should an employee be excused for being late because his/her car broke down?".
Overall, the interview was great.
Other Retail Sales Associate interview reviews for Ralph Lauren
went in it was a group interview of four. asked like 4 questions. then after I got a offer like two days later. what is the history of Ralph Lauren, how do you deal with a difficult customer, how do you deal with a difficult co worker.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Ralph Lauren (London, England) in May 2025
Interview
The interview was conducted at a cafe, and was very relaxed and friendly, mainly involving questions such as "If you could design a new collection for Ralph Lauren, what would you design?" And "What are your goals with this company or this job?" The hiring manager was very personable and it was clear that they wanted to get to know my personality as much as my skills or ability to do the job.
Simple, one phone screening and one in person interview. They reviewed work history, sales experience, job responsibility, etc. Overall a very simple interview process. Be prepared to discuss scheduling availability.
