Extremely slow process. From first contact to final decision took 5 months. I found the entire process very frustrating and disappointing in the amount of honesty communicated. My initial interviews were in October/November. They flew me to Chicago for a day of interviews. Really liked the people and got a very positive feel for the inclusive and diverse culture. The group reorganized and finally in Feb they called me back for additional interview with the CTO... this was a 25 minute interview where nothing was asked that was very relevant nor was my background communicated. It appeared to me to be a courtesy interview, as the CTO had already made up their mind to start all over again with the search. I liked the people that I would have worked with but it seems to me that their whole system is broken. 2 Director levels of leadership wanted me as their candidate and then the CTO decided to go down a totally different path.
