I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Oklahoma City, OK) in Feb 2019
Interview
Attended hiring event in OKC. Made through all 3 rounds of interviews. For my second I interview my ticket said I was interviewing for the tax credit specialist position. Turns out the person I was talking to was only interviewing for the tax specialist position and said that I would have to go back and talk to a recruiter if I wanted the credit specialist position. I decided to stay with him and just apply for the tax specialist position. For my final interview at headquarters I had to wait for over 30 minutes while they tried to find someone qualified to interview me. After the interview the recruiter said he would email me two tests to take. He didn’t so I had to reach out to him to get the tests. I was told I would hear within the week if I got the job or not. That was a lie. It took 4 and half weeks and the recruiter refused to respond to any of my questions during that time.
We always aim to have a positive candidate experience and are saddened to hear you had otherwise. We would like to discuss this situation with you further. If you’d like, please reach out to our corporate recruiting manager, Rachel Moore, at rachel.moore@paycomonline.com.

Interview
Had a phone interview and an in person interview. Process was simple and they expected the STAR approach to answering questions. There were 3 people that interviewed me, all were fairly easy-going.
We strive to create a welcoming interview experience for all of our candidates, and it's great to know that we were able to achieve that for you. Thank you for sharing and welcome to the team!
One round phone interview and second round in person interview. Very smooth process which wasn’t very difficult. Asked about previous experiences and your knowledge about tax. The recruiters were friendly and personable during the whole process.

Question 1
How can you relate your past experience to this role?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Oklahoma City, OK) in Dec 2024
Interview
A very mellow and interactive interview process. Both ladies were very informative and helpful throughout their questioning and with my questions. I loved how it was a more lengthy interview rather than a very short “ tell me about yourself and why you are good for the job” having more time with both interviewers gave me more information of how paycom thinks, moves, and what it requires from their employees.
