I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at MongoDB in Jan 2023
Interview
They actually have a very thoughtful and thorough interview process that I shall praise, but it’s the recruiter and the hiring managers that caused such terrible experiences. They put you through 7 rounds of interview (and mind you… the last “challenge” round took over 20 hrs of prep) with a convincing promise that if you get to the last round, you’re more than 95% in already. And then they just ghosted you without any feedback of proper email of rejection. Wow. Felt very disrespected and a complete waste of time. Had done so much job hunting in the past and no other decent companies have ever treated me this way.
Process is 7 steps. It is very challenging and time intensive but very rewarding when you get accepted. The communication throughout was very professional and I knew what each step had in store for me.
I applied online. I interviewed at MongoDB (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
Went through 6 differen't interviews and then spent 30 hours on the challenge, only to not get the offer on a technicality. In my opinion the process isn't best structured to get the right people.
