'ghosting' is a problem and not Ok. Appreciate the opportunity (30mins scheduled phone call, with some warm email correspondence back and forth) to learn more about the department of the role and company, after being directly approached from the recruiting team. But did not hear anything afterwards regardless of my attempts to stay engaged. Due to the lack of response, it's a fair assumption that decision to move in another direction. And certainly respect if someone more qualified entered the picture. Rejections are disappointing but 'ghosting' shows a lack of organizational leadership and empathy. Displaying common courtesy to let a candidate know where they stand in the process, would have been appreciated and shouldn't be a difficult conversation. One day, in my shoes, interviewing for a new, exciting company, that you are not treated in such an unkind manner.
