I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's in Aug 2022
Interview
I applied over the weekend. Got an email Monday to schedule an interview over the phone and scheduled for Tuesday. During the phone call the interviewer seemed as if I never had any retail experience even though I have 5 years at a big sporting store that was clearly listed on my resume. She immediately asked for my availability which I stated longer hours, less days work best. She also asked me how many times I planned on calling out since I lived 30 minutes away from the store, which I felt was an inappropriate question assuming I wouldn't come to work over the drive. She asked me multiple times where I could see myself in the store. I told her my background was receiving, merchandising, and order fulfillment. To which, she stated I would have to work unloading, work a department, AND do a cash register... It seemed like they didn't care what you applied to they wanted to train you to work the entire store..Khols is insane thinking someone wants to work an entire store for only 10 dollars per hour.
