I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Chula Vista, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
I applied online and received a call to come in 2 days later. It was a group interview with 4 other people. We were told that it would be a lengthy process. Group interview, 1:1 Interview, Background and reference check equaling 3 weeks. No one was pull aside after the interview and we were told that if they liked us, they would call within the week.
*UPDATE: I got called in for a 2nd interview almost 3 weeks later. I will update again if I get a job offer
**UPDATE: I went in for my 2nd interview with another manager and it was basically to fill out the pre-hire paperwork, what position/department I wanted, and if I had any questions.
I got a call 3 business days later and was offered the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were standard but mainly related on customer service. When have you gone above and beyond for customer service, What did you like-dislike at your last job.

Interview
Applied online, got an email to come in for an interview a few days later. Asked me 1 or 2 questions before I mentioned I was 17, then they told me they couldn't hire me until I turned 18. Which confused me, because I'd already told them my age in my application.
The interviewer was professional, but quite friendly nonetheless.

Interview
This was my first job interview ever, so I do not feel I was adequately prepared however all of the questions were fair. I walked in to customer service and told them I was here for an interview then the manager came and invited me to his office where he asked me a series of questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The one question that really stumped me (though I know employers ask it a lot) was "Name one time a coworker did something unethical and how did you handle it?"
He also asked
How do you feel about getting people to sign up for their credit card? On a scale of 1-10 how much incentive do you have?

Interview
Interview was really fast-paced and I thought it went really well. The guy was really nice and made me feel comfortable. I have bad interview anxiety and for me I felt like it was a good interview. But I guess they didn't like me.
