I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Flowood, MS) in Mar 2016
Interview
There were two interviews. One with the general manager, one with another manager that I would come to work with somewhat. They asked me general questions, mostly about describing "how I would handle situations" and to give them examples, which was pretty easy to overcome. There was a brief training session after the 2nd interview, which I feel did not really help train you for anything you actually do.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give an example of a time you were in a conflict or worked with others and a conflicted form, and tell how you managed to solve the conflict.
Pretty good, for seasonal. They asked basic questions. But also be sure to have questions of your own. Do research of the company before hand is always a good rule of thumb.
I had a Phone interview and was hired on the spot. Super relaxed interview process. No drug testing, but i think that’s normal for retail not to drug test. Started almost a week later.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Kohl's in Dec 2024
Interview
A video call interview through zoom that lasts roughly 15 minutes, and then a decision within 3 to 4 business days. This was for a seasonal position for the Christmas rush, so the process might be difficult for a long term position.
