I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Kohl's
Interview
Group interview, about 9 people, little room to show personality and others were asked questions that made them seem more likeable. Wasn't a very comfortable ambience. We were taken to a little room with seats arranged in rows, those who took the seats in the front blocked that people who had to sit in the back. Therefore when the interview process began it was difficult to give eye contact
Fairly easy interview with standard questions about experience and availability. The interviewer was professional and explained the role clearly. I was surprised to learn of evening availability requirements that were not reflected in the availability I submitted on my application.
The interview process was pretty straightforward, virtual interview a week after applying. Didn't have many issues or anything confusing. I did ended up working there. Managers were ok but pay was pretty low.
Phone screening interview to go over resume and job requirements, mainly confirming what my availability would look like, what it entailed, and if I'd be comfortable with the sales part of the job/promoting the store rewards and credit card. Very friendly and low-pressure conversation over the phone.
