One of their JR. Team Expansion Specialist reached out to me to schedule an initial interview for the Enterprise Account Manager Position. She scheduled the first meeting at the wrong timezone and for the second meeting, I never received a call at the agreed-upon time. I waited 15 minutes and then reached out to her directly. Once connected she apologized stating she thought it was set for the next day…. Once on the phone, she stated that the position I applied for wasn’t available. (However, it’s still listed as active on Linkedin and on their company career page.) She stated, that she knows it's confusing but they’re only hiring internally for that role. She then began to present other options at a lower status. When I declined interest in the Acquisition and Customer Support roles she thanked me for my time and said to keep in touch. It’s disappointing to have an interaction like this with a company that at face value appears to be organized and trustworthy. (Especially when they sell cyber security).....

The recruiter seemed unprepared, the description of the job was not entirely clear. The interview lacked structure, I did not feel as if I could really promote myself. I left the interview feeling incomplete.
