      Manufacturing Technician (RCG) Interview

      Chandler, AZ
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Chandler, AZ) in Dec 2009

      Interview

I originally met an engineer from Intel while on a flight back home from a trip out west. After that flight I decided to look on the Intel Jobs website and see if there were any positions available that would fit my education and background. I found a few and decided to apply for them. During the online application process you create your candidate profile and answer some questions that are specific to the position which you are applying for. I conducted this process back in September of 2009 so I was a little suprised when I recieved a phone screening three months later on the 21st December. The phone screening was basically like a verbal offer, they stated what position they were offering, what the salary range is, and what shifts were available. The questions asked during the screening were what would be my shift preference, when did I graduate college and what was my GPA. After that they told me to go and set up a candidate profile which I already did and apply for a requesition number that was given to me during the screening. I imdediately did that after the screening was complete. Two days later I recieved an email from one of the Shift Managers asking me to come in and conduct an On-site Interview on the 30th. The On-Site Interview was a Group/Panel interview conducted by the three shift supervisors during the evening and lasted about an hour. Overall the atmosphere was relaxed but professional. Be prepared for behavioral questions and be candid with your answers. I came out of the interview feeling very good and confident about how it went. After the Holidays I sent out my thank you letter via email and that is when I recieved the good news (always do your follow ups) and was told that I would be recieving an offer from staffing.
