I applied through university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Ann Arbor, MI) in Sept 2017
Interview
It was a phone interview that was primarily technical. There were combined questions on hardware and software and a few programming exercises. The hardware questions were mostly based on computer architecture.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They gave a structures and ordering problem to code in any prefered language and asked questions based on it. Mostly giving different cases and the resultant changes I would make.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Intel Corporation
Interview
There were two rounds, one in each week. In first round, was asked about projects, questions on related topics like UVM, System verilog, Coverage. Other questions were on logic design, C++, verilog, computer architecture like virtual memory.
In second round, interview was taken by team lead and asked questions about projects (in detail), puzzle question and design question on priority encoder.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Design a 16 to 4 priority encoder using 4 to 2 priority encoder.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Santa Clara, CA) in Feb 2011
Interview
I had 1 hour of Phone interview for the pre silicon verification. The person who interviewed me was a nice and very experienced person. He was more into RTL coding.
He asked me completely on Computer Architecture subject. Like Pipelinig, Hazards of it, Cache memories, Virtual Memories. Also he asked me how much of VHDL I knew and when was it used last.
One Digital logic question (Pretty easy one)
This was for a Recent College Graduate position.
Good luck!
