I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Intel Corporation (Hillsboro, OR) in Oct 2010
Interview
I was interviewed as an experienced candidate and the interviewers were fully conscious of my experience level. At times they were even surprised at the depth of understanding I have of various things.
Easy interviews, mostly they look for RCGs or from service based companies as they can't afford to match the CTC of Amd and Nvidia folks. Interview happens for different domain with easy to moderate questions.
It was a lengthy process with multiple interviews. First one was to test the analog design related questions which are not very difficult but more on a basic knowledge . Then second one lead to more focussed on synthesis process or tools used for simulation.
The interview was very long.
In the first 30 minutes, the interviewers described the group and its responsibilities.
The interviewers refused to open cameras so it felt kinda weird.
2 questions:
1. Using logic gates.
2. Coding question, Data structures.
