Recruiter called on time and was very pleasant and open.
They noted that I would be better suited for a more junior role at this time and was honest about salary expectations right away.
We agreed that this would be too high of a drop, but they'll get in touch if anything changes, because they thought I'd be a good fit for the company.
Sad I didn't get any further, but glad they were transparent and open right away!
Initial call, call with team leader, case study to present to team afterwards. Everyone was friendly and positive. They have lots of resources online to use as well to prepare for your call.
