I applied online and was invited to a presentation day in Stockholm, Sweden. The process took 3 weeks. We started the presentation day with a brief introduction to the company. We were introduced to a former trainee who told us about his trainee experience at H&M. Then we had a group interview/group case, a written interview and a verbal interview with an employment consultant. After the brief introduction to the company, we were divided into different groups, made up of at least 4 persons. During the group interview, I knew who they were going to choose (to go further in the process) from my group when i saw the interviewers gaze at each other, look at the person sitting next to me and nod at each other. I thought that was very unprofessional. It killed my enthusiasm for the remaining steps.

After applying online I recieved an invitation to do some online tests. Next step was an Assessment day att Stockholm HQ. Had an introduction about H&M before being dividend into groups. The day continued with a written, basic case, a group interview and a short personal interview. The order depended on which group you were in. Had plenty of time to talk to previous trainees as well. Final step after the Assessment day was a personal interview (2x45 min).
