      Customer Advocate Interview

      8 May 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Chicago, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2016

      Interview

First, allow me to say there is absolutely no flaw in the Glassdoor interview process! I was ecstatic and informed through each and every phase. The process began with the usual phone screening. That went stellar and soon I was invited to do a Skype interview with my would be manager and a few team members. Although I've never done one before, the Skype interview was so exciting! After the Skype interview, I was invited for a personal interview with staff in the Chicago office. The offer came a few days after.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Mill Valley, CA) in Jan 2017

      Interview

The interview process felt comfortable, from my initial phone screening/interview with the recruiter, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager, to an onsite visit to meet with two senior individuals, and finally ending with a group presentation to the remaining team. The presentation was a favorite of mine, and I emphasized trying to show some creativity in it. Overall, I had a great experience and enjoyed myself. Everyone I met directly with was welcoming from the start to the finish. Time between each leg felt efficient and appropriate. The recruiter I worked with was professional in every manner, and genuinely aimed my experience to be a positive one.

      Interview

The process was fairly quick as they were looking to fill the position right away. It involved a call with the recruiter, followed by a Skype call with the team in California, and lastly an in-person interview at the Chicago office. Everyone was very nice and quick to respond with next steps post interview.
