The process took 3 days. I interviewed at General Mills (London, England) in Jan 2011
Interview
Two back to back interviews with lots of technical questions about brand management. One of the interviews went really well, the other not so much (tougher interviewers). Haven't heard yet, but will in the next week or so. People were very professional but seemed really nice. They tried to really grasp my background and asked me a number of situational questions (Tell me about a time...). The culture of the company seems great, and they said the teams are very collaborative.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in May 2025
Interview
Screening interview for Brand Manager position - 30 minutes with HR talent acquisition lead. Questions focused on resume specifics, prior role scope, and size of business previously managed. Frame is highly centric on CPG, with limited understanding of transferable adjacent sector experience.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at General Mills
Interview
Very structured interview process. Specific set of questions that interviewers walked through for each candidate. Much less conversational and more transactional/"unbiased". Behavioral interview mixed with case questions. Based on knowledge of both high performing and under performing brands.
