      Analyst Interview

      25 Feb 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Emma

      Interview

      - HR interview - Friday interview: full afternoon, 3 interviews of 1 hour each, with two interviewers each. In general is not hard, just be ready to be asked different scenarios. You just need to comply with the idea of working non-stop, pretend that you can have the "Emma Way" and agree with desorganization

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What would you do if a whole set of mattress don't meet the quality?

      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at Emma (Frankfurt am Main)

      Interview

First stage was an analytical reasoning test which I was able to pass with above average results. Second stage was a quick meeting with a random Emma employee who asked me totally irrelevant questions including multiplying fractional numbers in head. Then I was invited to a “virtual recruitment day”. All of the candidates for various positions were gathered in the meeting link and an overall company introduction was given. Then I had to go through 4 back to back interviews with Emma employees. More random questions followed in these interviews such as my travel plans and what I would do if my flight was canceled. Starting from the first human interaction in the interview process, it was apparent that the interviewers had no idea what they were looking for and how to conduct a professional interview.

      Interview

First stage was an analytical reasoning test which I was able to pass with above average results. Second stage was a quick meeting with a random Emma employee who asked me fictional scenarios which I couldn’t associate with the job. Then I was invited to a “virtual recruitment day”. All of the candidates for various positions were gathered in the meeting link and an overall company introduction was given. Then I had to go through 4 back to back interviews with Emma employees. More random questions followed in these interviews which had nothing to do with the actual job description. Starting from the first human interaction in the interview process, it was apparent that the interviewers had no idea what they were looking for and how to conduct a professional interview.
