I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EY in Nov 2021
Interview
In-depth technical interviews that were more focused around math and coding than core finance which makes sense for such a role. Be prepared around a variety of topics and questions that encompass quantitative finance.
The interview process at EY for the Quantitative Analyst role was structured and fairly technical. It started with an HR screening focused on background and motivation, followed by technical interviews.
In the technical rounds, I was asked a range of quantitative questions, including probability, statistics, and some modeling concepts. There was also a strong focus on practical application—interviewers asked about how I would evaluate a strategy and interpret backtesting results. For example, questions covered how to assess the robustness of a model, how to deal with overfitting, and what metrics I would look at when reviewing backtest performance.
30 minutues interview with different focus, but they are all on either financial or about coding, a llittle about your resume, and the question will be based on your resume
