I have been interviewed for EY GDS AI data science team. HR is not clear on the experience of the candidate or the budget they have for the package to be offered to the resource. First round of interview was done with both the tech lead and manager in the panel with all technical questions for one hour. Cleared the first round.
Then in second round with senior manager, after 10mins of interview panel is saying " sorry your experience is more for the position we are looking for", which I found like very unreasonable. If package was the issue or experience was the issue they shouldn't have been processed the profile and scheduled the interview.
