(Can ask time to prepare) Interview process with Dropbox was pleasant experience. The Interviewer was not condescending as I have experienced with a few companies in the past. Interviewer will make it an interactive process and will guide the way, to reach the solution to the coding problem as they would expect. The process leading to the interview will not mention the coding round will be focused on the job description, rather than a traditional coding interview focused on CS fundamentals. Sys admin/ network engineers should know the libraries used for file handling like os module in python. Should require less of complex data structure/algorithms knowledge, but more of file handling, file manipulation, linux CLI , etc modules of programming language of choice. Got rejected after the phone round. Didn't brush up on the python modules.
