I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Deloitte in Sept 2010
Interview
First round: Behavioral interview followed by case interview (the case was quite computationally intensive)
Second round: 3 Behavioral interviews followed by case interview (all behavioral interviews focused on adaptability to change, leadership potential, skill sets, and working in teams)
Pretty professional interview and nice people to work with. The position that I had applied for was below my education and experience level. So I was considered for a higher position. However, that position required specialization in specific areas which was not my case, so I did not end up getting the offer. However they offered to fit me in other offices. Nice experience though. Everyone was highly educated and well-spoken. The experience that you would end up getting working on a couple of the consulting projects would be phenomenal as I can see.
However, I must say that the interviewers did not really sell their company to me. Many of my questions about the recent challenges in the consulting industry were answered quite vaguely, and I ended up getting the impression that everyone at the company work like 16 hour days for months at a time when they are on a project. Even when they are on bench, there is a constant fight to get into lucrative projects all the time. Simple things like travel arrangements were super-frugal (cheap hotels, cheap food allowances, etc) and taking time off - even an hour for a doctor's appointment - was frowned upon when you are on a client project - something that is almost always the case. Lastly, their 3-4-5 arrangement (3 nights, 4 days at a client site and the 5th day in office) was a little too much considering that two of the interviewers had done this for 10 months straight in their last project. And when asked if they were allowed to take their families with them, it was implied it was ok once in a while but not preferred since people work long days while on road.

Interview
Its was tricky for me. I recently graduated in masters and applied for a graduate role. Upon screening, online assessment (do prepare for this), video interview, virtual interview with senior consultants(second last round ideally) I got a response saying they really liked my performance and would like to consider me for a lateral role(coz of my experience in past). Later on I had director interview anf they were kind enough to offer me a role proceeding that round.
