The interview process usually takes several stages, but I didn't pass the phone interview. Although the interview went really great, I had only academic experience before interviewing for this position (doesn't mean I was a recent grad, I just worked in academia for a long time), and they needed someone with experience in big corporate environment. I knew that was an issue, but I'd appreciate if an HR person would say it directly, instead she kept giving me false hope that she'd contact me "in the next couple of days" for the in-person interview. That was unnecessary from her side.
