      Client Technical Support Agent Interview

      23 May 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Oklahoma City, OK
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dell Technologies (Oklahoma City, OK) in May 2018

      Interview

I was referred by a friend that works there and was told the process would be pretty fast. I was given a good idea of what the job was and the interview process so I did my homework and prepared for it. I showed up on time but the interview started several minutes late anyway. The hiring recruiter and everything I read online said the interview would last anywhere from 45min-60min but mine not including the late start time was only about 20min. I went into a room with two guys that clearly wanted to be anywhere else but conducting the interview. Each person asked three questions a piece, in an effort to make the interview a little longer I came up with extra questions that I already knew the answers to just to make a lasting impression and show them that I really cared and wanted the job. After the interview was done they said I'd be contacted by the hiring recruiter within two days about whether I got an offer or not. After 5 days without any contact at all I tried contacting the recruiter but still haven't heard a peep after a full week. All of this is on top of playing phone tag with the recruiter over several days setting up a phone interview just to set up the face to face interview.
