1. Recruiter emailing you for interest for an interview
2. Phone screen with 8 basic heat transfer questions
3. If passed, the senior engineer in the group will have another phone interview with chit chat and then 3 technical questions.
Which of the following heatsinks has best cooling performance, straight fins, pinned fins, or staggered fins, if they all have the same overall dimensions, surface area, and fin pitch?
It was good. They asked thermal design conceptual questions. They were trying to test if computationally you can estimate the heat dissipation from a street light. They are trying to see how think about things.

Questions were deeply technical but average difficulty.
I lost my interest in the onsite interview step due to rude behaviors!
I haven't gone through the whole process, but The one interview I had was technical and difficult, for me it lasts more than 45 minutes. It takes time and effort to prepare.
